Our Cuisine

Our cuisine

Flavours of the past

Constant balance between taste, substance and creativity. A contemporary reinterpretation of Tuscan gastronomic traditions by Executive Chef Andrea Campani and his team. The ethical approach of the kitchen, which is ubiquitous thorough the restaurant, is based on firm principles: simple and natural ingredients, elegance, authenticity and little waste.

Seasonal and local products

At Il Borro Tuscan Bistro we pay the utmost attention to the first fruits that the our lands give us and to preparation techniques: two souls within same entity. At the heart of Tuscan Bistro is a perfect combination of refinement and authenticity: the past, present and future of Tuscany together with authentic flavours and dishes. Each product has a story to tell: our land’s best harvests and a careful selection of local excellences, for an authentic “Farm to Dinner Table Experience”.

Careful selection
of ingredients

The ingredients are the real stars and the menu is designed to enhance their quality and seasonality. Typical Tuscan cold cuts and cheeses, quick dishes made with rabbit, chicken, guinea fowl, Tarese del Valdarno, as well as pasta and typical soups, such as Ribollita or Pappa al Pomodoro. What really matters is using raw materials and being willing to dedicate all the time needed to achieve great things, such as the unique flavours of the Tuscan tradition of the past and present.

Il Borro
